Diagnosis: Confirmation

The client's records are reviewed by one to three physicians, who are specialists for their condition. A specialist, who best suits the clients needs, is chosen as a potential provider by EMT and the client.

After diagnosis is confirmend, a telephone consultation is set up with the client. During this conversation, a treatment plan including aftercare is discussed with the client.

Availability of Treatment

There is little wait time, if any, for our private patients as Americans, Canadians, Brits, Australians and others with no visa requirements seeking medical services in our hospitals. However, passports are required. European Medical Tourist will help with the visa process for those who need it.

European Medical Tourist is available 24/7 to help you. We are only a phone call away. Cell phones are available at the airport and land lines are in your room. You can add SIM cards to your current phone to make them work in Germany.

Diagnosis confirmation

After arriving, before any procedure is performed, physicians will examine you and confirm the diagnosis and the treatment plan. If the doctors are unsatisfied with the diagnosis or treatment plan after the examination, they will advise the client. Although it is rare, treatment plans can change, after examination.

Post-treatment

Some treatments require post-treatment hospital observation or therapy, or outpatient aftercare. European Medical Tourist handles all the details for our clients.

Travel and appointment organization

Clients have a variety of travel and appointment coordination requirements. European Medical Tourist works with the "Trip Chicks our of Atlanta, Georgia to coordinate all these activities and makes every effort to ensure the traveler and their companion(s) are comfortable and safe during their journey from the airport, to the hotel and to the clinic with its Meet and Greet service. EMT makes all needed arrangements for the client and any accompanying family and friends.

Travel Documents

In order to travel overseas, Americans must have a current U.S. passport valid for at least six months beyond your scheduled return date to the United States. Please allow a minimum six weeks to obtain your U.S. passport by mail. We would be happy to recommend a passport private expediting service if you need your American passport on shorter notice.

The tourism opportunities in Europe are almost endless. Our travel agencies have Rhine boat cruises and Italian villa plans are particularly attractive for many of our clients.

Services: Placement and Escort

This service includes all of the above, plus a dedicated escort who will meet you at the airport, stay nearby and be available to you during all your treatment and return you safely to the airport. This is a first class service, which includes private rooms, first class transport, and three days of guided tourism.
